A recent study found that users with more than 100,000 followers only get 1.7% engagement on content uploaded to their social sites. Conversely, users with 4,000 to 100,000 followers get 2.4% engagement. That’s a significant difference in engagement.
Micro influencers are deemed more approachable, relatable and trustworthy - plus advertising is cheaper. And let’s face it, it’s obvious that the majority of the content on a celebrity's profile falls into the sponsorship category rather than being raw, real and engaging to your potential customers.

In fact, in a recent survey of business owners and executives, content marketing was the top activity pinpointed as having the largest commercial impact in 2018 on their business. Content marketing was rated well above AI, big data, social media, SEO and marketing automation.
Content marketing fuels engagement, creates a community around your business and builds referrals to your products and services. With inbound marketing and lead capturing and nurturing tools now available, you no longer have to spend five nights out a week networking to gain customers - you can bring them to you!
